S!RENEN can warn you if there is danger where you are. You do not need to download, sign up or use a specific app.
S!RENEN
S!RENEN can warn you on your mobile phone in case of emergencies.
S!RENEN is Denmark’s mobile-based public warning system. If you are in an area where many people are exposed to danger, you can receive a warning directly on your phone.
S!RENEN works on all compatible phones in a danger area - regardless of whether it has a Danish sim card or not. Warnings are delivered in Danish and English.
S!RENEN is not an app, and you don't need to download anything. S!RENEN works on most smartphones: Apple iPhone 8 or newer with iOS 16.4 or newer. Android phones need to run Android 11 or newer.
S!RENEN has a distinct sound and vibration that clearly differs from text messages and push notifications.
If you hear S!RENEN on your mobile phone, you should follow the instructions immediately: STOP. READ. REACT.
S!RENEN is a supplement to other warning systems.
S!RENEN is based on a technology called cell broadcast. The warning is transmitted via telephone masts to specific areas without requiring an internet connection.
The signal is one-way only so the authorities do not receive data about recipients’ mobile phones and location.
